We couldn’t have had a better photo session with a 10 day old baby!!! Anyone with a newborn knows how unpredictable these little humans can be…sleeping like an angel one minute, then screaming bloody murder the next. My husband and I were terrified that our little one wouldn’t be able to make it through the photo shoot because he’s a light sleeper but like everyone else has commented, Darla and Todd have the magic touch. Through all of the scene changes, they were able to keep our baby quiet and content. They were able to capture so many cute images. They have a ton of beautiful and whimsical scenes to choose from and the studio was clean, large, and easy to find. We can’t sing enough praises for Aloha Island Baby Photography. A session with them is definitely a great investment…we’ll cherish our pictures forever!!! Cheryl
Darla and Todd are such an amazing team!!! We had our photos done when our baby was 7 days old. They did the entire photo session without her ever waking up because of their incredible skill and talent in working with newborns. The photos are absolutely incredible. Everyone who sees them are completely amazed. I am still amazed everytime I look at them. They are priceless and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. I am really particular on photos and this is by far the best I’ve seen for newborns on Oahu. I took my son to her and her husband when he was six days old and the way they handled him was like they loved him just as much as I did. They took their time, they warmed the area, played relaxing music, the entire setting was just right for my son. I look at his newborn pictures from time to time and still am so happy I did that. Choosing Aloha Island Photography for our son Andrei’s 1st Newborn Photos was a vey wise decision. Darla and her husband are very nice and professional. Their studio is very cute and clean. I know my son had a great time during his photo session, that’s probably why he didn’t give them a hard time taking all the shots. We all love the photos!!! We will treasure them for a lifetime! I met Darla at a Baby Expo and I immediately fell in love with her photos, colors and the props that she uses. I couldn’t wait for the photo shoot and it was a truly wonderful experience. Darla was just great with my 8 day old daughter, she was very gentle and loving and the studio was the cutest place ever. I hardly wanted to leave the place. The photos turned out just how I imagined and everyone who has seen them absolutely loves them. Amazing photographs by an amazing photographer! Darla was so professional and very easy to deal with. She has a very calm and peaceful demeanor which helped to put my twin babies and I at ease during our session. The photos turned out AMAZINGLY! We couldn’t be happier!!! We receive so many compliments on them. Initially I wasn’t going to get professional photos done but my husband insisted on them. I’m sooooo glad we did and so glad that we went through Aloha Island Photography. It does my heart good to see all the love and support that Taegan and I have from all of our family, friends, and loved ones all over the world. This is such a special time in our lives, but also a heartbreaking one to have Chris so far away. We carry Chris’s love around with us and tell Miss Taegan how much her Daddy loves her. If you are thinking of scheduling a photo session with Darla my advice to you is “DO IT!” Your baby will only be this small once and you want to capture them at their best. Darla is a “baby-whisperer,” she makes sure that she captures your little one at their best. She took her time and made sure that my baby was comfortable so that she could get the best shot. Everything about this whole experience was so personal. My pictures came out gorgeous and I felt so proud to show them off to my friends and family. When I received my pictures they were beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and elegant boxes. She also discounts a lot when you buy her packages I saved hundreds with one of her deals. Best Time Ever! They were great. They kept the studio warm, so the babies were very comfortable, and handled each one of my bundles of joy with extreme care. The atmosphere was amazing, they were very kind and courteous. Tamera
